Dipl. Relationship & Addiction Counsellor
My aim as a counsellor is to provide a welcoming space for couples and individual clients, to help them explore their personal issues and feelings, in order to gain confidence, to look at things more honestly and, where necessary, make the appropriate changes. With these goals in mind I offer short or long term counselling sessions, tailored to suit my clients personal needs.
Eight years ago I trained with Alcohol Focus Scotland. After completion of my course I worked for MCA (Moray Council on Addiction) as an accredited addiction counsellor until December 2015. Now I work very close with GamCare, MND Scotland, Scottish Autism and Moving Minds. In Edinburgh I have studied with Relationships Scotland for two and a half years to attain my diploma (degree) as a Relationship Counsellor (certified by Edinburgh Napier University and validated by COSCA). This enabled me to work for Relationship Scotland and Avenue as a relationship counsellor for individual clients and also couples. I am trained in Integrative, Relational, Systemic and Person Centred Counselling.
In 2013 I started my own private practice in which I offer a safe and non-judgmental place for my clients, to explore their issues in either English or German.
My Services include:
Marriage & Couple Counselling
Intensive Couples Counselling
Separation & Divorce Counselling
Loss and Bereavement Counselling
Addiction Counselling – Including significant others
Same Sex Couple Counselling – Individual Clients are welcome
